Some 17 young players follow the AC Milan



Some 17 young players aged 10-16 years will follow the AC Milan Junior Team Tournament that took place in Milan, October 12 to 19.

The 17 children were formally removed the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Andi Mallarangeng Affairs Office, Senayan, Jakarta, yesterday.

"This is an opportunity for our young children to play and exposure was his ability by talent seekers. Surely we support such activities. I also call for activities like this is done continuously and not stop. Moreover, this is done private parties, "said Andi.

Menpora said, the implementation of the AC Milan Junior Camp Tournament is an example of private sector participation and the role of the concrete to promote Indonesian football.

Ricky Djoharli, Managing Director of Asia Sports Development (AD) said, the 17 children was the result of selection in the event the All Star Team Challenge 2010 opened directly by Franco Baresi, the legendary AC Milan 1-2 May at the Square D Senayan.

According to Rick, if any of the 17 young players are showing perforam good, it will possibly recruited into the academy Milan.

"This is for the first time Indonesia has entered into a list of 36 countries that took part in the AC Milan Junior Team Tournament. If any of our players stand out, then they can be pulled into the academy of Milan, "said Ricky.

Added, 17 players is the result of selection Milan Junior Camp was held in Bali some time ago. They undergo two selection, the 1-2 May in Jakarta and 12 June to 10 July in Bali.

Raffaele Paolino, one team Milan academy coaches, express, participating teams in the tournament will get a direct observation of the Franco Barresi and Daniel Massaro.
