Theo Walcott's contract talks with Arsenal are being monitored by Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.
Barca have long been linked with a move for a speedy wideman from a north London club, but the speculation has all been about Gareth Bale of Spurs.
The Catalan side have limited funds for the summer transfer window and the £40million Tottenham would demand for Bale means he is beyond their reach.
Barca are still keen to add to their squad during the close season, but are focusing their efforts on players who may be available for bargain fees, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Among them is Walcott, as the England winger has just one year left on his contract and if he refuses to sign an extension, Arsenal will have to decide whether to sell or allow him to leave for nothing at the end of next season.
